Commercial Counselor Bing Xu presented speech at Temple University and Fairleigh Dickenson University on May 6th and May 8th respectively to press for deeper corporation between China and the U.S. During the speech, Counselor Xu introduced the great achievement by the Chinese government on economic construction in the 30 years since the adoption of the open-and-reform policy. He also gave numbers and examples to further present the leap-forward development of the bilateral economic and trade relations in the 30 years since the establishment of the Sino-U.S. diplomatic relationship. Counselor Xu pointed out that China has achieved the preliminary success in fighting against the shockwave of global financial and economic crisis. He called for enhanced bilateral corporation among Chinese and American entrepreneurs and academics to avoid protectionism and optimize the bilateral economic and trade environment to further promote the continuous and healthy development of the Sino-U.S. economic and trade relations. |
