Consul General Keyu PENG Visited Vermont and Met with Governor Jim Douglas on December 29 and 30 for Cooperation

Consul General Keyu PENG visited the state of Vermont on December 29 and 30 for promoting the all-round cooperation between China and the state of Vermont. During the two-days visit, Consul General met with the State Governor Jim Douglas and the Secretary of Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development Kevin Dorn. Besides showing great interests in the most recent economic situation and the development in the industries of environment protection and tourism in the state of Vermont, Consul General highlighted the strategy of "Going Global" launched by Chinese central government aiming to encourage Chinese enterprises to make foreign direct investment. Both parties expected to further expand the bilateral economic cooperation in the coming years.
