| Vice Minister Ziying FU Talked with Economists in Boston |

The delegation from Ministry of Commerce led by Vice Minister Ziying FU visited Brandeis University, Boston University and Harvard University from September 23 to 24, 2009.
At Brandeis University, Vice Minister Fu attended the luncheon held by the International Business School and made a presentation on the various topics related to Sino-U.S. economic and trade ties, climate changes and poverty elimination, etc.
At Boston University, Vice Minister Fu met with Dr. Brown. He also held a meeting with Mr. Lataif from the Management School about training cooperation between Ministry of Commerce and Boston University.
Minister Fu held another meeting at Harvard University with more than ten economists from Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies on various topics related to development aid and macroeconomy. Later he exchanged opinions deeply with other U.S. top economists including Frieden and Frankel on the trend of U.S. and international economy and finance.
The visits by the delegation were accompanied by the Commercial Counselor Bing XU from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Consulate General of PRC in New York.
