Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and New York State signed Memorandum of Understanding in relation to Mutual Investment and Corporation on April 27 in Washington. Deputy Minister Ms. Xiuhong Ma and Director of New York City Economic Development Cooperation Masira Lago attended the signing event. Under this Memo, the two parties will enhance communication of the information related to investment policies, regulations, investment environment and investment projects. They will also corporate to further promote the bilateral investment. The two parties also agree to organize investment seminars which will give priority to the topics related to life science, clean energy, financial service, information technology, nanometer and education.
